Jerry Nelson is an internationally-known concert pianist, composer, arranger, conductor and studio producer. He is a master at blending a wide spectrum of musical styles – from Classical to Jazz to Gospel to Celtic and more – creating an experience of excitement, worship and praise. Using captivating videography while sharing insights and stories from a wealth of life experiences, his concerts have delighted audiences on all continents. (Well, Antarctica is still on his bucket list).

Jerry has conducted orchestras from London and Tel Aviv to Nashville and Los Angeles. To add to his directing experience, he created the 400-voice Rocky Mountain Praise Choir which performed and produced CDs for over 10 years. He has also worked with other great musicians such as Dino, Anthony Burger, Glen Campbell, Sandi Patti, Tom Netherton and Steve Amerson.

Jerry’s impact on the musician’s world is widely acclaimed by recording artists and performers alike. Artists have benefited from his creative touch on more than 500 recording projects – as arranger, performer, producer and director. Giving birth, in the early 1970s, to the concept of “play-along” and “sing-along” performance tracks, musicians and singers across the globe have inherited the tools to maximize their impact. Credited with more than 5000 arrangements, Jerry has supplied soloists, orchestras and choirs of all sizes and skill levels with the tools needed to perform at their absolute best.

Jerry’s first “official” assignment was playing piano at age 10 in a small Minnesota church. He began his career in public school music in Minnesota, followed by over three decades arranging and directing the orchestra at Denver First Nazarene Church. Today, Jerry is focused on a full-time concert career.

Along with music, Jerry and his wife Rachel have a heart for the people of the Congo and Rwanda. They enjoy traveling overseas to these African countries where Jerry conducts concerts and crusades and teaches music. Rachel works with the most impoverished single mothers thru their micro-loan small business financing program. They also work with humanitarian programs including fish farms, economical water purification and youth education.
